Vacancy Description

Office-based, you will be recruiting and motivating the Student Marketers to promote graduate opportunities for our client. Student Marketers will collect registrations of interest, distribute marketing materials, and may even attend some events. The management of the Student Marketers is essential to the success of the campaign, so your ability to plan, organise and coach the Student Marketers through the process is essential.

You will receive on-the-job training and will have frequent meetings to ensure that you are progressing well and meeting the targets set.

You will be working predominately on one specific campaign, however due to the needs of the business you may also be required to work on other campaigns or assist more generally with the needs of the Company. Part of your role will also be to maintain and develop GP’s relationships with our contacts at universities.

The person we are looking for

The role requires excellent organisation and communication skills to manage the flow of information between Student Marketers and the Account Management Team. You will be expected to be a good team player, pro-active, an on-the-go problem solver and to relish a fast-paced environment. You must be a quick learner and have a logical and hands-on approach. Fluency in German, French or Spanish is desirable. Any additional European language skills may also be beneficial.

Other eligibility criteria

We are initially looking for a Project Coordinator, that have excellent interpersonal skills, who are highly motivated, enjoy working towards targets and are comfortable on the phone and using Microsoft Office.

You will be expected to be a good team player, pro-active, an on-the-go problem solver and to relish a fast-paced environment. You must be a quick learner and have a logical and hands-on approach. Any office, marketing and sales experience is desirable.

Vacancy Description

4-6 month operations-focused internships are available within our Account Management Team, which is responsible for consulting on, planning and structuring campaigns, supervising and participating in execution and liaising closely with our Business Development Team. These are organisational and administrative roles which involve the delivery and co-ordination of a variety of ‘below-the-line’ marketing strategies. Most core on-campus activities are delivered through an extensive network of carefully-managed Student Marketers. This Student Marketer Network consists of over 800 individuals (generally students) at over 100 Higher Education institutions across Europe who are engaged to perform specific marketing tasks as required.

The position

During your internship you will primarily be working to develop and manage this network and to liaise with the client-facing section of the Account Management Team on the execution of our cross-Europe campaigns. You will also assist more generally the other business needs of Graduate Promotions. Office-based, your role will involve frequent contact with Student Marketers as they work on campaigns at various campuses to ensure our client expectations are met and exceeded. Part of your role will also be to maintain and develop GP’s relationships with our contacts at continental European universities and other relevant institutions.

Event Manager

Vacancy description

Event Managers at GP deliver and coordinate the varying events and installations we execute on behalf of our clients. Although based at our London offices, the role also includes touring the UK, and potentially abroad, to implement these marketing strategies, often for whole weeks at a time. Working as a GP Event Manager provides excellent experience of promotional events, leadership and event management. You will take responsibility for the delivery of every project you work on using careful preparation, your initiative and know-how to ensure that the client receives maximum exposure in an appropriate way. You will come into contact – and be required to work effectively – with a range of key stakeholders, from the Student Marketers who will help you with events and whom you will manage on the day to university staff, our clients and your colleagues within GP. The role requires excellent communication skills together with the confidence and gravitas to interface with a diverse range of individuals. You will need to be proactive, an on-the-go problem solver and have a logical and hands-on approach to your work in our team-oriented culture. You should have an engaging personality, a strong sense of professionalism and the staying power to be able to give your best on every project you work on.

The person we are looking for

You will be a person of integrity, diplomacy, commitment and charm with excellent communication skills and attention to detail. You will be organised and have strong interpersonal skills. You will thrive under pressure, and have a high standard of written and spoken English.

Other requirements

An impressive academic record to minimum bachelors’ level from a leading university, and a full driving licence (held for 12 months or more).

Those with fluency in French, Spanish, Italian or German would have opportunities to use their skills in this role, but a second language is not a pre-requisite.
